Kwazi offers grade-aware explanations and lessons for CAPS Grade R–12 across 17 subjects. Subject availability follows the phase map; English and Afrikaans are the languages currently listed. The topic map is a guide, not a complete textbook or a guarantee of every curriculum objective.
The first five questions are free with no card required. Afterwards, a wallet-funded question costs R10 (1,000 credits). 100 credits equal R1. Each follow-up that requests another answer counts as a question. Yoco handles card top-ups and the app shows the balance and transaction history.
Yes. Type a question, upload or photograph a worksheet, or use voice in a supported browser. Remove names, IDs and contact information first. Kwazi does not retain uploaded photos or voice recordings.
No AI tool can guarantee that. Kwazi safety-screens requests and validates the response format before display. Included deterministic practice activities are checked against their expected answers. An adult should still review explanations against the teacher’s methods, textbook and official memo.
No. Kwazi is an independent service. CAPS describes the curriculum it aims to support. Links to DBE papers and open textbooks identify learning sources; they do not imply government or school endorsement.
An adult teacher can create an account and use the five-question trial with anonymised or synthetic questions. The school evaluation page explains the steps and feedback route. This is an evaluation of the public app, not a school licence or a bulk learner rollout.
No. Rewards depend on actual donor funding, administrator-verified eligibility and available purchases or voucher stock. The same completed task cannot be allocated twice. Donors can follow their funding allocation and purchase status in the app.
Optional Google Analytics loads only after analytics consent. You can withdraw consent. Learner questions, names, contact information and payment identifiers are excluded from analytics. The app does not show advertising.
Allow Google Analytics to measure visits to Kwazi? We do not send questions, names, contact details or payment references. If you are under 18, ask your parent or guardian to choose.
